curious的意思有二:一是“好奇的”,用于褒义时可指“好求知的”,用于贬义时可指“爱打听的,爱管闲事的”,在句中可作主语或表语; 二是“奇妙的,稀奇的”,在句中主要用作主语,也可用于形式主语结构。
curious可接that或wh-从句,其中that从句后的谓语动词必须用其虚拟式; curious作定语时,多半用作贬义。
curious一般不用very修饰,不用于比较级和*高级。
